Hey everyone! Time sure flies by so fast; February only felt like a few days ago yet here we are, a day away from a new month. Hopefully the new month will bring us new spirits, new opportunities, and of course, new things to learn!
In this post, I will share about a brand new discovery (thanks to CALT course) which is a website called Super Teacher Tools.
What is Super Teacher Tools?
It is basically a website containing all sorts of tools you can use to support your teaching. There are basic tools which can be used for classroom management, e.g. random name generator and group maker, and you can also create games with the available templates for fun classroom activities.

What games can I create?
1. Jeopardy Style Review Game

2. Multiplayer Rocket Review Game

Remember that famous game show 'Jeopardy!'? Well, this game has the exact same concept. You can ask students to work in teams and select tiles with different categories and different points; the higher the point is, the more difficult the question will be. Check out this one I made about Having Fun with Vocabularies.
Unlike Jeopardy which can be customized to suit various subjects, this one can only be used in math, specifically basic operations. It can be a challenging game for students as they race to place first by solving the equations as fast as possible. If you want to try this out, try the one I made called Add, Substract, Multiply, Divide, or Lose.
3. Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
This game is also based on a famous game show with the same name. You can ask any kind of question and give multiple-choice answers. The difficulty can also be adjusted with the amount of money participants will get. If a student answers a questions wrong, then the game will automatically reset.
Try this out by playing Are You a Grammar Expert?
4. Speed Match

In this game, players have to drag the answers of the provided questions as quickly as possible. If the answer is dragged into the right box, it will disappear. If not, it will go back to its original spot. You can also customize the questions to suit the subjects you are teaching.

What classroom management tools can I use?
As you can see, you can utilize these tools to ease the troublesome process of implementing cooperative learning methods: grouping students, choosing representatives, etc. You can even use them in daily classroom activity e.g. the timer and countdown.
How do I use these tools?
I will now explain further as how you can use these tools to use them for teaching purposes instead of just for fun/to play it. As you can see from the pictures, each tool have a blue button below it which basically implies 'use tool' or 'create a game,' so just click on that. Here I will provide an example using the 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' game.
After you click that, click the 'Create a New Game Now!'
Basically, to use these tools, you only have to follow the simple instructions given by the website.
Let me know your experiences of using this website. Did the tools ease your teaching?
